The Property Survey

We undertake "full Building Surveys"

The aim of a full building survey is to put the client in an informed position as to defects, maintenance problems, and health & safety issues. These will have both cost and time implications.

The "Chartered Building Surveyor" is an expert in assessing the quality of materials and workmanship used in construction.

The site inspection considers the following:-

  • Observable defects are investigated to determine the root cause and the damage to surrounding areas.
  • Materials and workmanship are assessed with regard to maintenance over the foreseeable future.
  • Health & safety issues are recorded.
  • Repair methods and the costs involved for major defects are considered
  • Client specific requirements such as forming new openings or renovation issues
  • An overall view of the state of the property is formed
