We do not design new buildings, but we are experts in design and change of historic buildings. Our understanding of timber frame, stone, and earth construction makes us a good choice to handle repair, change, and adapt the older French buildings.

Our training and experience enables us to not only re-design the usable space of a building but also to prepare specifications for materials and workmanship. Naturally we are therefore best suited to supervise the works and keep the project on time.

We have in-house Cad Stations, plotters, and project software. A dedicated secure web site is posted with all project documents, regular reports, photographs, and video clips. This is available to clients at any location with an internet connection who wish to see progress of the project and discuss it with others or ourselves.

Management of project – Assistance with quotations, cost budgets, regular inspection of works, advising if invoices are for work completed. This can vary depending on the needs of individual clients.

• Management of projects is a service ideally suited for sites within 1.5 hrs driving distance of our base near Albi 81000 Tarn.
• If you know at the survey stage that you will renovate or make major changes then the “Existing plan” service can be undertaken at the time of the survey thereby avoiding double travel costs.
• In France for properties over 170m2 only an architect can submit a planning application for changes to external features such as windows, door openings and roof ridge adjustments.
• However internal works are not part of this process so only external elevations need to be prepared or approved by an Architect.
• We can supply drawings in an electronic format for the Architect to prepare the planning application.
